How to draw from an appendix holster.

Writer's picture: Mike PettengillMike Pettengill

Appendix position is when the holster carrying your firearm is located to the front of the body. If your belly button is at high noon on the clock, appendix position is generally considered anywhere from 11 o’clock for left handers to 1 o’clock for right handers. Appendix straw is typically considered to be faster than strong side draw. Appendix straw is typically considered to be more concealable. Many people find the appendix straw to be a little less comfortable.
