Let The Gun Fall

If you're out on the range and you're shooting your gun and you lose control, just let your gun fall. Forget about your bruised ego and don't worry about a couple of scuffs on your new gun. What you don't want is your finger in the wrong place and the gun pointed in the wrong direction. Don't go chasing your gun beyond the firing line so that now you're in danger of being shot by others. If you lose control of your gun, just let it fall to the ground.
