You grab the base of the magazine, so it rests in your palm. You index the tip of the top round with your index finger. With the round facing forward, you place the flat back of the back of the magazine against the flat back of the back of the magazine well, and you insert briskly. To remove the magazine, you may need to adjust your hands so that smaller fingers can reach the magazine release button. With your thumb push the magazine release button in, perpendicular to the direction of the barrel. You can use your support side hand to catch the falling magazine.
