A dummy round is a great training tool. It is a non-live fire simulated round for your handgun. It does not go pop. It does not go bang. But it is shaped like real ammunition and it helps you to better learn how to deal with malfunctions and emergency reloads. Adding dummy rounds to your training repertoire will make you a more well-rounded shooter. We encourage bright colored dummy rounds that are red or orange or yellow. We encourage rounds that use real brass. And we encourage dummy rounds that have holes where the primer goes or rubber or springs to help protect your striker or firing pin.
